Attention All Anchorage Students and Families – Anchorage School Community Connections
As part of the Anchorage School Community Connections outreach, help us contribute 150 hours to our greater Louisville community in need. We will be assisting the Ronald McDonald House , located at 550 South First Street, 40202, in two capacities:

1) Adopt A Meal: 4pm—7pm; A group of up to 10 people will take, prepare, and serve food as well as clean the kitchen for the 60 residents staying at the facility.

2) Adopt a Chore: 3pm—5pm; A group of up to 10 will take over the daily chores from the residents so when they come in from the hospital they can relax.

WHEN: Adopt a Meal— October 24th, 26th, 27th, November 3rd, and 4th

Adopt a Chore— November 2nd and 15th

WHY: The mission of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kentuckiana is to provide a “home away from home” for families of children receiving healthcare at area medical facilities. This wonderful organization has been in Louisville for over 30 years.

HOW: Please email Kimberly Glass at to sign you, your family, and friends up for this fun outreach opportunity. Be sure to keep track of the hours spent and take pictures to share with our school community.

Also, be on the look-out for additional community outreach opportunities this winter and next spring!
