We are excited to have funded Pat Vaughn’s APTA Cares request to bring Mr. Science, Jason Lindsey, to Anchorage school. Students across all grade levels will get the opportunity to interact with his program which brings science concepts and STEM concepts to life. He will have multiple, grade-appropriate assemblies as well as a Family night. The APTA Cares Fund is an annual fund set aside to fund unique educational and curriculum enhancement opportunities. Interested teachers apply for these funds two times annually and the APTA funds projects based on money available impact of the application.
