This important community event is sponsored by the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association and proceeds support enrichment programs at our school. The celebration begins on Thursday, December 8th at the newly renovated home of Christina and Andrew West (1400 Walnut Lane). Come enjoy the Christmas in Anchorage Holiday Soiree and Home Tour! View exquisite holiday décor while enjoying gourmet hors d’oeuvres. Win a beautifully decorated holiday wreath at our silent auction. Admission is a $50/person donation to the Anchorage Parent Teacher Association. Invitations will be arriving at your home soon. Breakfast with Santa – Seatings at 8:30 am and 10:00 am
It’s the most important meal of the day! Come and enjoy breakfast while you get your photo made with Santa Claus.
Reindeer Ranch – 11:00 am to 3:00 pm
Enjoy lunch brought to you by Paul’s Fruit Market and hot beverages from Heini Brothers Coffee.
Holiday Concerts – 9:30 am (K-4) and 10:30 am (5-8)

North Pole Bakery – 9:00 am to 3:00 pm

Frosty’s Jolly Fun Zone – 10:00 am – 10:30 am / 10:30 am – 11:00 am / 11:00 am – 11:30 am /11:30 am – 12:00 pm
While the adults are shopping, the kids can have fun in Frosty’s Jolly Fun Zone. This year, there will be four time slots available and kids can choose from the following activities:
- Make It & Take It Crafts for Kids – Come paint and embellish wood slices to create a unique keepsake holiday ornament. Each ornament is $10 and there will be plenty of holiday elves to help your little one create a masterpiece.
- Candy Cane Corner Kids Shop – Kids can purchase small holiday gifts for their parents and/or grandparents. Items range from $1 – $8. Please send in money with your child the day of the event.
- Storytime and Crafts with Mrs. Claus – Enjoy classic holiday stories and make a small craft with Mrs. Claus and all your friends. Admission is $5 per child.
2016 Holiday Ornament – This year’s design is a wooden jockey silk hand-painted by Betty Conley. Each ornament (~ 4” x 4”) features an anchor cutout, Anchorage School colors, accent ribbon, and a decorative hanging wire. Packaged in keepsake boxes, Christmas in Anchorage Holiday Ornaments make great gifts for students, alumni, and staff. The pre-order price is $15. Anchor Christmas Tree Raffle – The APTA holiday elves have decorated a Christmas tree full of all things Anchorage. It is a beautiful, traditional tree with a splash of whimsy. Purchase a raffle ticket at the event for a chance to bring this one-of-a-kind tree home with you. Each ticket is $25.
